The history of Pyrrole rice.

 

The special tasty rice dedicated to ancient lord in Fukui. There was “Ohikidori-mai” in Edo period (300 years ago). It was delicious rice cultivated only in “Toumyoujinawate area in Fukui”.

The father of Koshihikari brand, Mr.Terajima, investigated the soil, then noticed that it was high mineral like calcium and magnesium content one 40 years ago.

After years of reserch, he finally derived that cyanobacteria produces the taste of “Ohikidori-mai”. After that he succeeded to make material to grow cyanobacteria well.

Finnally, it was established “Pyrrole farming method” with cooperation of organic chemist, Mr.Sakai and technology developer, Mr.Kuroda. This “Genki-mai” is cultivated by the Pyrrole farming method.  So we can say that it is re-creation of dedicated rice,  ”Ohikidori-mai”. It’s not only delicious, but rich in nutrition.

Not using pesticides except for herbicide.

 

After rice planting, we use herbicide. S For this reason it can not be displayed as non-pesticide.

However, since pesticides are not used after that, pesticides are not applied to rice ear.

Cyanobacteria *1.  generates oxygen underground.

 

In organic farming, when organic microorganisms are activated they absorb oxygen and then occur carbon dioxide into the soil. But in pyrrole farming method cyanobacteria absorb carbon dioxide and then occur oxygen by photosynthesis underground. This is the big difference from normal organic farming. With the activity of cyanobaceria, oxygen is distributed to plants enough.

Cyanobacteria also disintegrate and purify pesticides.

Rice will be rich mineral weak alkali rice

 

The rice cultivated by the pyrrole farming method becomes weakly alkaline compared with ordinary rice is weakly acidic. Also, minerals such as calcium, magnesium and zinc are contained more than ordinary rice.

Pyrrole farming method is environmentally friendly.

 

Pyrrole farming method is very similar to organic farming method.

But the decisive difference are 2 points.

First, in pyrrole farming method soil dioxin is decomposed and photosynthesis generates oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. The plant ingests oxygen grow up lively.

only use pesticide for mowing at the time of planting, no worries about applying on rice plants.

Mr,Ninomiya living in Okawa town.

He makes “Genki-mai” in Okawa town, Kagawa pre.

His rice field can draw clean water. In general, pesticides are mixed up to the water for own rice field from other paddle around and wastewater.

But he draws water directly from the mountain, no worries about those contaminations.

In environmentally friendly and healthy rice cultivated by Pyrrole farming method, ”Genki-mai” warmly thought is includes in each grain.

No milling rice, just remove the fir .

Nutritive value is in the best condition. 

We recommend to cook with pressure pot, 

earthen pot or electric rice cooker in 

“Brown rice mode”It absorbs water very 

slow. Soak it in water one night, if you want 

to eat in the morning. Steamed rice is pale 

brown. Please eat it chewing well. 

You often see it in the shop. 

It’s removed epidermis, bran from brown rice. We can mill brown rice on your favorite condition. In “5bu-tsuki”mode, 10% of the total weight will be decreased. 

You can’t get germ from white rice.

 

 

 

 

 

This is how to store the rice.

 

 

Because it does not use pesticides, it’s easy to generate insects, so please keep “Genki Mai” in refrigerator. 

To make it easy to stock, we prefer to divide into small

thick plastic bags.

 

1.Avoid from direct sunlight,  high-temperature

   &humidity.

   Keep it under 18 degree condition.

2. Keep the case or bag clean to prevent  the occurrence

       of insects.

3. Please consume early. 

       If you want to keep for a long time, 

      Stock it in refrigerator.
